Correlation between inflammation induced by LIB particles in vivo and HIF-1α stabilization in vitro. Scatter graph and bivariate analysis demonstrate a positive correlation between the inflammatory cell recruitment level induced by LIB particles after 2 months in mice (see Fig. 2) and the stabilization of HIF-1α (pg/ml) in BEAS-2B at the concentration of 30 μg LIB particle/ml (see Fig. 6).
